Finally...

So a few things.

1) Seasonal Affective Disorder...very real, especially in the Pacific Northwest.

2) If you keep talking and talking about good intentions, with no actions, even small ones, people tune you out (deservedly).

3) The big picture is downright frightening and overwhelming, the smaller chunks are better.

4) Spontaneous is awesome but having zero plan, as much as one hates planning, a recipe for disaster. With that however, focusing on the missing components needed for a plan and not the components you can take care of? Just as bad.

5) Not making use of possibly invaluable resources? Plain stupid.

Moving along with that. I hope to do less talking and more actions over the next few months. I'm looking forward to moving downtown which will be more lively than the suburbs and more things to do. With that, hopefully channeling some creative energy and getting things going again.

I plan to in the next few months start releasing excerpts of an in-progress novel, whether the continuation of a partial one that's been stalled for a few years or a brand new one. And also to start a Deadly Elegance serial. Just because I don't have an artist or drawing skills doesn't mean I can't have the stories in place right?

So that's the goal. A real plan, small steps, manageable things. Hopefully I can find an artist at the local university or I get the attention of one through my writing that will be posted here on DA or self-published on my new domain I bought. If any artists are interested, send me a note. Just big thing is I want to maintain creative control and please let it be a legit offer. Not saying money, just a real intent to really do something instead of "you have to find your own artist actually". For all that I might as well keep going with my plan of doing the finding and starting my own company anyways.
